Standard Bank - Moving Forward

It’s not very new news, but in case you missed it and didn’t get a chance to view the work, we’re featuring the Standard Bank Moving Forward campaign put together by the TBWA/Hunt/Lascaris. It’s quite an epic campaign and we certainly suggest taking a look at all the creatives. We’ve posted a couple of the creative works up here for you to take a look at. This site is so fun to use that I might actually consider moving my bank account.

I love the fresh, kinetic look and feel of this campaign – but I wish Standard Bank had got someone to proof it before launching: there are apostrophes missing from some of the ‘Lets Connect’ calls to action; specifically, the billboards along the Garden Route. As an editor/proofreader, I have to admit that this kills it for me. (It also makes me wonder whether there are zeroes missing from my Standard Bank statements…) Sloppy, or some kind of creative punctuation?
